Green Teaching

The Green Teaching Program, which has won a national award and been adopted by six other universities around the country, allows faculty to choose from a list of sustainability measures to collect points towards a Green Teaching Certificate for their courses.

Upon evaluation, qualified courses will be rewarded with a logo representing on of five different levels of the Green Teaching certificate, which are displayed on Blackboard course pages and can be put on syllabi, to market courses as green.
