No, merit recipients do not need to complete a FAFSA to keep their scholarships. They only need to have met Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵs satisfactory academic progress (SAP) requirements in the previous academic year.

The financial aid office evaluates a student's financial aid eligibility each year. Provided that students financial circumstances remain relatively the same, our office will make every effort to ensure consistency in student financial aid awards. Families should complete the FAFSA each year by the prescribed financial aid deadlines for maximum consideration of aid. However, if your family financial circumstances change significantly from year to year this could affect your aid package during the next academic year.
