Communication May 10, 2024

Dear Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Community,

At 5 a.m. today, the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) lifted the water boil advisory issued May 8 for areas of Northwest DC, including the main campus of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, the Washington College of Law, and 4200 Wisconsin Avenue.

We appreciate your cooperation and thank you for taking extra precautions to ensure your safety. DC Water recommends those residing in the previously affected area should take the following precautions before returning to normal water usage:

  • Run the cold water taps for 10 minutes (if water was not used at all during the advisory).
  • Discard food, beverages or ice prepared with water that was not boiled during the advisory.

Catering services will resume normal operations this morning. A special thanks to those who ensured that our community received bottles of water.

Onward,

Bronté Burleigh-Jones
