Joseph Dubose Associate Director, First Year Advising SOE Faculty
- Bio
- Joseph DuBose (he,him,his) studied Human Resources at the University of Toledo where he later completed an M.A. in Higher Education. While at the University of Toledo he worked to develop an international living and learning community, advised an affinity group for students of color, and managed a peer mentoring program that supported first generation students. He continued his work at Texas A&M University-Commerce where he assisted with development of a residential curriculum, instructed a first-year seminar and managed a residential community. Proceeded to work at Notre Dame College developing a first-year experience, designing curriculum, and in various roles in Residence Life and Housing. He began work at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in 2017 as a Community Director, where he facilitated residential programming and supported students with their transition to the university. Passionate about creating holistic learning opportunities for students his work with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵx is a natural fit. In his free time, he enjoys doing agility training with his dog Kam. He is also passionate about fitness and overall well-being.
