Bio
Brandyn Churchill is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration & Policy at ĢƵ. He earned his PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2021.

Professor Churchill’s research examines the roles of information and cost in healthcare decision-making, with a particular focus on preventive care. He also has projects exploring how public policies and social comparisons shape self-image and weight-related behaviors. Professor Churchill’s work has appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Human Resources, and Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and his research is supported by the National Institutes of Health.

Professor Brandyn Churchill is a national expert on the economic and policy determinants of health behaviors and outcomes. He has written extensively on vaccine policy and obesity policy. Professor Churchill’s research has appeared in leading peer reviewed outlets, including Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Human Resources, and Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and this work has been featured in print and broadcast media, including USA Today, New England Public Radio, and the Tradeoffs Health Policy podcast.
