Dr. Nam Woo Kim
SJD Program Graduate

Dr. Kim successfully completed his S.J.D. degree at ĢƵ Washington College of Law. The title of his dissertation was “Dominant Firms and Competitive Process: Lessons from the U.S. and Implications for Korean Competition Policy.” His fields of study and professional expertise include antitrust law and competition law.

Currently, Dr. Kim is an attorney at Bae, Kim & Lee LLC. Before joining Bae, Kim & Lee, he served as the Antitrust Counsel at LG Electronics, Inc., where he was primarily responsible for the antitrust compliance program and consultations.

Dr. Kim has also worked as an Adjunct Professor, teaching antitrust law, corporate law and law and economics at various universities and law schools in Korea. Prior to that, he served as a Foreign Legal Consultant at the Office of International Affairs, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Dr. Kim is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
