Defending the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream InitiativeÌý(Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ) Washington College of Law (WCL).

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.

Thanks to a generous gift from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and WCL alum William I. Jacobs, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream is now a reality. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Dream continues to provide legal services remotely. Please contact us at audream@wcl.american.edu.
